Calcots in the Kitchen

For breakfast we’ll enjoy a Tortilla of Potatoes and Calcots. Then to work:

We’ll tackle the preparation of Calcots and then work out how we are going to cook them to achieve the authentic look and flavour. We’ll then plan our mini Calcotada lunch and make the traditional salsa from start to finish plus traditional Catalan Tomato bread.

Then some ideas of how to incorporate the wonderful sweet and succulent flavours into one or two other dishes including pizza and a soup.

In the last 30 minutes we’ll dip calcots together. Better keep your aprons on!!
